The City of Lake Station City Court hears cases involving criminal misdemeanors, traffic tickets (infractions) and city ordinance violations.  The City Court conducts business on a daily basis with hearings and trials being held on Tuesday's and Fridays.   For your convenience, below is a detailed schedule of those dates.

The Court Clerk's offices are open Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Alternatively, you may also contact the City Court Clerk's office by telephone at (219) 962-2145.  Our clerks  are available to assist with questions about the status of a case, payment options or any other general questions you may have.  Please note that our clerks may not give out legal advise.
